I am an engineer and spend most of my time outdoors for construction supervision. This product feels very smooth and does not leave a heavy layer on the face. However, the SPF is a little low and is more suitable for short periods of sun exposure. I feel the need to reapply it every two hours. I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes This makes it super easy for me to keep putting sunscreen on daily. It doesn't smell like sunscreen at all, which is one of my biggest problems with daily sunscreen application. It also doesn't leave a filmy sticky layer behind that takes time to dry, it absorbs in like a proper lotion, no oily sheen either!

I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes. My skin is considered very dry on clinique's skin type scale and I found that this specific sunscreen was just not for my dry skin. I'm not sure why I was sent the mattifying version when the hydrating version would have suited my skin much better but this sunscreen was just too drying for my skin. My dry skin has never gotten along well with salicylic acid and I suspect that is what caused made this too drying for me. This sunscreen may suit more oily skin types better but I would stay away if you have dry skin.

I love this sunscreen! Finding the right sunscreen is always very difficult for me because many products cause my skin to break out. The salicylic acid in this sunscreen works well on my skin because I have not experienced any acne since I've started using it. It absorbs very well and the finish is indeed mattifying. I usually skip my moisturizer before applying the sunscreen but I'd recommend layering this product with one because it can make your skin a little dry. I think it will work best in the spring and summer months! I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes.
