Urban Decay Cosmetics Tube Job Lash Augmenting Tubing Mascara

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Ok I'm going to start this by saying I love a tubing mascara and it's my daily choice. I've been using Thrive Causemetics liquid lash extensions mascara for several years. I have never had as good of results with other mascaras so I stick with it plus I like that it doesn't rip off my lashes trying to get it off. So when I saw Urban Decay was releasing a tubing mascara, I was excited to try because I love the brand, like good alternatives, and am excited to potentially find a new fave. Want to make sure all of that's clear because I'm coming at this comparing it to my daily tubing mascara. The brush on this one is plastic but has a bit more bend/flexibility to it. I didn't love that because it was harder to get a good coat in a swipe. As a result, I had to probably go in with 8-10 swipes to get the length and coverage I would like. That being said, it was super buildable and didn't get appear to get clumpy no matter how many coats I added. The formula is really good. It also comes off slightly easier than the thrive when washing my face at night (which is crazy given I can tear up and end up with thrive mascara tubes on my face). However, I tested it side by side with the Thrive (right eye) and the UD (left eye) and got better length out of the Thrive and with fewer coats. UD doesn't flake as much. I asked my husband what he thought of my lashes and he said the left (UD) looked more clumpy than the right which surprised me given I thought it looked less, but opinion still counts. All of that's being said, I am a fan of this formula. Will it be the one I reach for if both are in my drawer? Not every time. But I do like the natural effect and clean, full lash look it gives me and that is comes off easily. And a tubing mascara is superior in my book so I will be getting this one again to keep in my bag!

So credit where credit is due, this mascara is definitely lengthening. However, its a super dry formula that goes from barely there to spiderwebs very quickly. It doesnt offer anh volume, so just an fyi if that's important to you. Holds a curl well, but what's the benefit of long lashes if they look like they're sprouting branches while crying for help?

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Goes on smooth and lightweight. Lengthens eyelashes. I don't feel it separates great for me but my tiny eyelashes might be the issues. I don't get a lot of volume but maybe with a couple extra coats it might layer better.

This is perfect for a natural look and will be my go to on my light make up days. I like the added length this gave and am happy with the results! The only thing I wish it had added more volume/thickness. I get a bit more of that with other mascaras.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] A lot of times the biggest problem is getting mascara on my stubble lashes. From the before and after you can easily see that it went on, and it went on smooth. Zero clumping. Last all day and comes off easily. I use petroleum jelly to remove and just slid right off. Very sensitive eyes and I had no flaking during the day, which is usually why I don't wear a mascara.
