Take the time to figure it out!
At first, I thought this might be the worst mascara I'd ever tried. It's been two years, and I don't use anything else. Pro tip: You must curl your lashes. Apply VERY lightly. Globbing it on will look stupid, and it'll clump. Give it an eternity to dry. If you follow these steps, you'll have long, curled lashes that get mistaken as extensions. They'll last all day. Then, they come off with a wipe of water in the evening. (This mascara does not work if you get wet or very sweaty). None of the cheaper dupes work… I've tried.
Flaky plastic
Don't waste your money on this product if you want something natural. It flakes and peels off like stringy glue or plastic. Very disappointed as I have been searching for something that looks natural.
Great mascara
This mascara makes my lashes look great! They look full and long and the tubing washes off easily.

I've used the original Tarte tubing mascara for a while, but saw this one on sale, so I thought I'd try it. I actually like this one more than the original. I don't have tons of eyelashes and this mascara helps make what I do have look longer and thicker.
