Natural looking

As someone with porcelain skin, I am happy to report that COVERGIRL TruBlend Sun & Sculpt Bronzing Glow Serum in 10 Very Light works for me! Having a very fair complexion, I do not typically reach for a bronzer in my daily makeup routine. And for those times I do choose to use a bronzer, I am partic...ularly selective with what I use. I make sure that any bronzer I do use does not oxidize to orange, appear muddy, overly shimmery, or is noticeably darker than the rest of my complexion. This product surprised me because, despite looking quite concentrated in the bottle, and far from my skin tone, it blends into a much, much softer and more natural-looking wash of warmth. As a serum, its texture is lightweight and spreads easily across the skin. I like that I can build the color gradually instead of having to get the intensity right with the first application. The Very Light shade gives me a subtle sun-kissed effect that looks much more natural than some bronzers I've tried. I can apply a small amount for just a hint of warmth or layer it when I want more definition. I especially like being able to control how bronzed I look depending on the rest of my makeup. Once blended, the color looks much more seamless than it initially appears. The packaging is one of my favorite things about this product. It has BOTH a pump and a wand applicator, so I can choose how I want to apply it! I prefer the pump when I want to mix the serum with my foundation. And, I like having the built in wand to be able to target an area for a sculpted look. I appreciate how easy it is to blend. I don't have to spend a lot of time working it into my skin. It blends without leaving obvious edges, which is particularly important to me when using a liquid bronzer. The finish gives my skin a healthy, radiant glow without looking like I covered my face in shimmer. It is worth noting that the formula is marketed as containing peptides, vitamin C, and vitamin E, with claims of helping smooth and hydrate skin. At this price point, that's an awesome added benefit. I would like to mention that the formula is very, very thin upon application. This makes it easier to control the finished color. I particularly like the buildable coverage, the easy blending, the radiant finish, and the clever pump-and-wand packaging. It gives me enough color to make my complexion look warmer and more alive. For an affordable liquid bronzing serum, I am impressed with the natural and effortless the finished look it gives my fair skin.
