Most Helpful Positive Review Game changer
I am an avid used of the Liz Earle cleanse and polish and have been using this every evening to remove my makeup. I recently bought this product to try to mix up my routine and it is a complete game changer! Usually with the Liz Earle cleanse and polish I have to double cleanse to make sure my make up is all removed and even then I use a face brush which still removes residue. The pro-collagen cleansing balm literally melted the make up off my face meaning I used less product and spent less time doing so! To check I used my face brush and there was no residue what so ever. This has made me review my whole routine and I can't wait to use it again!
Most Helpful Critical Review I thought I would love this but didn't
I'm an avid cleansing balm user and have tried countless balms and oils. I always wanted to try this one but the price always stopped me. I finally pulled the trigger and was not as happy as I thought I'd be. There are things I love and things I really hate about this product. First of all, I LOVE the texture of this. It's super thick and melts into a really nice nourishing oil. It feels amazing on my very dry skin. It emulsifies easily, rinses clean, and removes makeup very very well. But, the smell is SO strong. I couldn't believe it. I knew this had a scent, and I actually prefer my first cleansers have a bit of a scent to make the experience extra luxurious, but this is extreme. I almost have to hold my breath while I use it, which is not something I've ever experienced before. Again, I like my balms to have a fragrance and fragrance in product is not something that ever stops me from using something. Also, this burns my eyes so badly. I have started taking my eye makeup off before I use this because it's so irritating, which almost defeats the purpose of why I use a balm like this in the first place. Overall, if you don't mind scent and this doesn't burn your eyes, this is a nice balm. I highly suggest getting a sample before you pay for this since it's a bit of an investment. I would not buy again or recommend this because there are so many others on the market that work as well without any issues that are much more affordable.

Truly horrible scent of essential oils like eucalyptus among other things. Feels awful on the skin and burns a little bit. It doesn't smell like a spa, it smells like medicine. Do not get in your eyes. There are so many better cleansing balms out there: Clean It Zero, Farmacy, and YTTP!

The product itself works alright, not worth the price though. The thing that stopped me in my tracks was the fragrance. It was strong, and stung my eyes. Reminded me of putting Vicks Vapo Rub, but on my face. Wouldn't recommend over other cleansing balms.
Not for Contact Lens Wearers
Kay from Washington
I don't feel like it's actually cleaning all my makeup off and I have to go in with another cleanser afterwards. And if you wear contacts and so much as get a smidge near your eyes, your contacts will be wrecked. I will save it to use as an occasional mask as others have recommended, but won't be using it to cleanse anymore.
Love this product!

This product was recommended so I purchased the travel size to see if it was as good as advertised. The scent is similar to products used at my favorite day spa so I don't mind the eucalyptus smell. Melts off makeup and leaves my skin feeling soft. I purchased the full size jar and it is worth the money as a little goes a long way. Will purchase again.
Not for sensitive skin

Feels nice and hydrating but stung my sensitive under-eye area. I was bummed to find out it does not remove mascara, only to read afterwards that it's not meant for the eye area . I'll stick to boscia.
My favorite makeup remover! Love the scent!
Lisa from Wisconsin
I love this product! Have gone thru a few jars and don't want to be without it. It takes everything off! Leaves your skin feeling great even after a second cleanse. I like the scent it's different and makes me feel like I am at a spa. Would like a bigger jar offered in the future.
Young Bunny from Albany, NY
It is very dry-skin friendly. It does the cleaning job well. Also very hydrating and not dry my skin. I love the smell and the refreshing feeling. The only downside is a little pricy.
I love this so much
LizS from Baltimore
It easily removes makeup and is safe to use in eyes which is an added bonus. Afterwards me skin feels so soft, clean and new!
rose one is better
ashxx from minnesota
This works, but the scent is so medicinal it's disgusting and very overwhelming. The texture and results are great and it removes makeup and grime as a first cleanse. Definitely buy the rose one or the unscented one instead. I have a big one of the rose scent and it is very light and works wonders.

I've been using this product for a couple of years now! My skin has never been this clear and beautiful! :) This balm is easy to use, and even removes the most stubborn of makeup gently.
Spa like feel
Ki from Denver
Number 1 this is not supposed to remove eyemake up. If you try to put it in your eyes expect it to burn. The scent is vicks meets spa, I love it. Overall a feel good product. Due to the heavy fragrance and not being able to get it in the eye area will not repurchase.

I was very excited to purchase this product. It had glowing reviews and was raved about by one of my favorite skincare experts. I will say that it feels very nice on the skin (at first!) and does a fantastic job taking makeup off. If your skin isn't sensitive, I say go for it.
For me, this product DID NOT work. I used it a total of four times before I decided to take it back, where I was told that this balm had a lot of complaints and returns. On day one, I first noted it had a really strong mint smell (it contains Eucalyptus oil) but that it felt absolutely amazing on my skin and did a great job getting all my makeup off. On day two, I used it and noticed it left my skin a little red and raw, so I stopped using a cloth to remove it. The balm is pretty easy to rinse off, so I didn't use the cloth on the third day. On the third day, I noticed some bumpy patches and redness again, but decided to press on. The fourth day is when the irritation was the worst: after rinsing off, my skin felt like it was burning and was very rough and bumpy. I finally decided I was done with this balm and took it back.
I absolutely love this!

I remove my makeup with this and it feels like heaven!
My favorite prestige cleansing balm!
Sarah from Nashville, TN
This cleansing balm is expensive. The texture is nice and soft, and it does a thorough job at removing my makeup. The scent is lovely. Overall I'm very happy with this product.
Good job but stung
Kikikikerson from Orange County, CA
Removed makeup and sunscreen well but something in it felt minty to my eyes and made them sting like crazy. If you have sensitive eyes, which I don't feel I do, steer clear of this!
Better than the Clinique One!
Mbrhodus from Louisiana
This balm works really well and doesn't burn my eyes or irritate my sensitive skin.
Not too greasy
Claire from Houston, TX
I like this better than Clinique's which is greasier. But this costs a lot more. For travel, I prefer Dermalogica's pre-cleanse balm.
Tamara from Mississippi
I purchased a travel size after hearing my favorite skin YouTuber (Susan Yara) mention it!!! I love it!!!! I love the texture and it cleanses my skin without stripping it. It does have an essential oil smell but I hear that they are making a limited edition fragrance free kind.
Claire from Houston, TX
This is not greasy and does the job quickly. I got a small one and plan to buy a larger one when needed. Pricey so I will wait for a sale.
Michele614 from Columbus, OH
This was impressive. Does a great job at removing all makeup, including mascara, smells good and makes my skin so soft. Would recommend
Great Product, Bad Fragrance
Brandi from Allentown PA
I am 27 years old and had been using ponds cold cream to remove my makeup for a long while. This attracted me because of the cool gel-like texture. It is much less oily than ponds which is nice. However, it stinks up the whole bathroom when I use it and make my eyes water, so I ended up returning it. I had seen a lot of other reviewers saying the Neroli cleansing balm was the best scent and I noticed Elemis brought it back on their website so I ordered that one. Note: this does come in Rose, Water Mint and Fragrance Free as well. If you don't mind this strong eucalyptus scent, it does a nice job of taking off face makeup (primer, foundation, concealer & blush) but I would not use it for eye makeup because it is not strong enough for that job. I ordered the white flower eye and lip makeup remover by Elemis to use in conjunction with this.
Love this stuff!!!
BB61 from Kentucky
I use to cleanse my skin every night. Elemis provides a wash cloth to remove makeup, dirt and grime from the day. It not only makes my face visible clean but feels very soft.
Use this as a mask!
Brookelle from Morro Bay, California
I don't see a lot of people talking about this, but they do recommend that you can use it as a mask! And it's. Life. Changing. I do it especially when I have a breakout or my skin's looking full or irritated. It's deep cleansing but also moisturizing and leaves you with an amazing glow and takes away redness and reduces swelling on breakouts. I have no idea how since it's a bunch of oils, but I do this and sometimes leave it on for hours and when I rinse off my breakouts are reduced to almost nothing and I look radiant. For reference I have oily, acne prone skin. Highly recommend! And a little goes a long way, I buy the travel size for this because it lasts so long that I'd rather have a fresh one when I'm through than using the bigger size dipping in for months and months. Just a tip!

Breaks down make up gently so it can just be swept away.
I would not buy this product again
