Thick & Clumpy Formula with Terrible Wand
The headline says it all. This formula is extremely thick and clumpy, and the wand itself may possibly be the worst design I've ever seen. I couldn't even use a separate, clean spoolie to separate my clumped lashes. I even tried using a different wand with this mascara, and that was still a disaster. I will be returning this to Ulta for a refund. Zero stars - don't waste your money!
It's okay
This my second time buying the mascara, i buy not because i love it but it's okay i know it get the job done. Im not a big fan of the brush, i feel like i have to take off a lot of the product off the wand before applying which i dont like. Its also more of a wet consistency

My daughter didn't care for this as she wasn't able to really see that it was purple after applying. The brush is nice but that's it

As someone who has straight lashes and been struggling to find one that stays put, this mascara has been the one that helps!! I definitely recommend!!
My HG mascara
Yes, there is 100% a learning curve with this brush. HOWEVER all the magic is also in the brush. I have pale, straight lashes that are meh in length. There's no natural drama, they are just blah and boring. You cannot see them without mascara. With the right technique and this mascara, people think I wear falsies. I have never been asked what mascara I use until this one. Tips: Don't use the flat back of the brush. I wipe it off on the side before starting. I use the spikey sides for initial swipes and separation, use the curved front side to add product with a "curl while you swipe" motion. Then I finish with the sides and tip. You have to see what works for you. But it's soooooo worth it. The formula allows for brush use and almost...styling? But no fall out, no clumping, no smudges if you use the brush right. Which is frankly true of any good mascara. It comes off with my Ordinary creamy cleanser, unlike some other waterproof I've used that seem to need a chisel. I will ALWAYS buy this mascara. Take the time to learn with the brush. It is so worth it. Trust me!
