New formula is terrible
I never post reviews, but this eyeliner was so infuriating to me that here I am. Like many other reviewers, I'm a long time user of Kat Von D's tattoo liner, but this new formula makes it worse than any eyeliner I've ever used. Bring back the OG formula!
This used to be the ONLY, and I mean only, eyeliner I used for YEARS! It never smudged, flaked, or transferred onto my eyelid. This new formula does all of these things. Its dry, flaky, transfers onto my eyelid, smudges, and erases if I go back over it. To say im disappointed is an understatement…. RIP to the goat of all eyeliners. I've swtiched to the Nyx eyeliner and it's almost as good as the OG KVD tattoo liner fyi!
I don't know what happened
This used to be the best eyeliner and I would buy the brown and black. Then I started noticing it barely lasted without drying out in a couple weeks! So i grabbed an old eyeliner one day (tarte sex kitten) and I've been using it months and I can't even tell you how long ago I purchased it because I had been using KVD for over a year. Anyways, I attempted to repurchase once because i thought maybe it was a bad batch-nope, same problem…and I'm still using the sex kitten. Will not repurchase—regular drug store brand has to be better. Dont waste your money.
Hate the new formulation.
Hate when companies change items when they don't need to be changed. This used to by my holy grail for liners until I noticed in the last year it seemed harder to put on. Where it used to glide onto my skin, it almost seems like it catches now and dries out more. Very disappointing.
New formula is just bad
This eyeliner, at one point in time, was my first-ever ride-or-die makeup item. The formula was always a little sticky and had its issues I was blind to at the time, but it still performed lightyears better than this current formula. It dries out almost immediately and it WILL tug your eyelid. RIP to an OG. My rec is go buy the Physicians' Formula one instead.
