Drench strands in the shower and apply throughout the length of hair. For thicker textures, section first before applying to ensure every strand is penetrated. I bought this mainly because the packaging is suppose to be super easy, and I love being able to run the nozzle through my sclap for better application. However, the product is so thick it is almost impossible to get it through the nozzle. I would squeeze and squeeze and nothing would come out. Ended up taking off the top to get the product out which defeats the whole purpose of the nozzle. The smell is also not that great. That doesn't bother me as much but keep that in mind in case that's important to you. Other than that, I do not think this is special and would find another product.

Love the product's smell, but...
If you have any kind of hand issues and don't want to have to transfer this product to an easier squeeze bottle, don't get it. I had to take the pointy cap off and shake the shampoo out. It smells lovely, has a nice consistency, and loved my first wash day with it. I just wish I could get to the product easier!
4c hair? Look no more
Ive tried many shampoos and they always dried my hair out, making it feel brittle like straw. This rinse left my hair soft, hydrated, smelling good, clean and most importantly DETANGLED. I would recommend to everyone with curls or coils.
