First off, This product does do what it says. And it does it great, however. It is absolutely horrible for your hair. I have used this product for 20+ years and this is my first bottle with the new packaging. I noticed the first time using it that it was much more greasy. It weighs my hair down and looks greasy and dirty after applying the serum. I do not recommend! I will not be repurchasing. Please switch back to the original formula!

Just 1-2 pumps before flatiron but after blowdrying for kinky, curly hair. I use 1 pump on my 2A kid's hair. Nice, soft and shiny. Not a heat protectant.
New Formula Doesn't Work
I have used this serum for almost 20 years and have loved it. Now the formula has been changed, eventhough the bottle says that it just has a new look. This is not the case. I even compared it to my older travel size and the product feels and performs very differently with different ingredients listed. Sadly, I will no longer be purchasing this product and will have to find something new. Please bring back the original formula. This new one doesn't work. I really feel like I waisted my money this time.

i've battled finding a leave in that wont weigh my fine hair down or make it crunchy, and i had been using this product for 4.5 years. they claim that the formula hasnt changed but i beg to differ. if you have fine hair, dont bother with this.
