Highly Recommend!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but I really like this! The clear one smells like vanilla, to me, and I was pleasantly surprised. The scent is a bit strong, but I'm sensitive to scents and it doesn't bother me. It's inexpensive, and I think it's very worth the price. Would purchase again!
Nearly a Tarte maracuja lip dupe
Very hydrating & long wearing both; I only use this a few times per day, & my lips are as lustrous as it gets, alllll day long. This is more like a lip melt mask overnight. I've yet to encounter a more luxurious product, although I prefer Ulta's Jelly Bomb a bit more. Neither are at all sticky, goopy, & will not break your skin out if they exceed their perimeters, lol. This definitely beats Tarte's maracuja lippies for $30 on 0.07oz of product. You get nearly 5x as much product with Essence Peptide lippies, at a fraction of the cost (under $5 for 0.33oz, are u serious?!?) It's 1/6 of the price for 4.7x the product. A huge YESSSS from me. Love it!!
Peptide lippy....
Can't beat this little Essence peptide lip treatment. It can definitely compete with higher end competitor. Why spend more when you can have this inexpensively? And wait... I even got this on sale!!! It's a win win.... go get yours, you won't regret it.
Not as great as JELLY BOMB
Good product, but not great. Ulta's Jelly Bomb is far superior; much creamier & stays put. This was a bit on the less creamy side; definitely not as good as maracuja lip products by Tarte, either. Go for Ulta's JELLY BOMB! It can't be beat, is super affordable, & is sooooo much better.
Excellent but no color payoff
If you're looking for just a good lip balm this is a good choice, but this is not a lip balm with pigment. It does feel super nice on my lips, even though I wish it was more hydrating since my lips get super crusty super fast despite how frequently I apply through the day. If your lips are not prone to Sahara Desert levels of dry, this is a solid choice.
