Excellent but no color payoff
If you're looking for just a good lip balm this is a good choice, but this is not a lip balm with pigment. It does feel super nice on my lips, even though I wish it was more hydrating since my lips get super crusty super fast despite how frequently I apply through the day. If your lips are not prone to Sahara Desert levels of dry, this is a solid choice.

I don't often buy Essence products for myself- my 12 and 13 year old are obsessed though. I had very low expectations for this, but I have been reaching for this more than all of my other lip balms- even my SF! This is NOT sticky and doesn't have a scent. Love!

super impressive
I had decided to pass on these but then I got 2 of them for Christmas. I'm blown away, they are really really impressively good. I've always been a lip product person, I've been trying several of the peptide ones lately and this ranks up with some of the much higher priced ones. I have the clear one and the pink one. the pink one is not too pigmented but I can see the color on my lips and it's perfect for me. the scent is very light but very pleasant, I didn't notice any taste chemically or otherwise. this feels so nice on the lips and the part that I'm most impressed by is how long it lasts. it's a lip balm so they're never going to last that long but when compared with others like the one from ole henriksen, Tower 28 or whatever the number is, provence, and laneige this one's staying power is better than all of those others. look, it's not by much, it isn't going to last forever but I put some on right before dinner last night and did not try to eat carefully. there was still probably a quarter or a third of the product left when I was done, definitely enough to be noticeable and my lips were still comfortable. the only other peptide lip that I've tried that has better lasting power than this is the one from rituel de fille but that's like 25 dollars. I'm struggling to understand how some people did not find this moisturizing. it's so comfortable and nice on and it feels as moisturizing as any other nice lip balm out there. I think I'll try the other 2 colors and I hope this is a product they don't stop making and that they don't reformulate. it's really really good.
Absolutely perfect
Did not have high hopes for this just bc of the price alone. Its stunning. Packaging is perfect, but the balm itself excels where most luxury priced balms do not. Not sticky in the slightest but it lasts! And when it is gone your lips feel moisturized, not like they need more. Please add more colors!
