this star balm smells really good and it feels super soft and not heavy on the lips, but i do want to note that if you've gotten another kind or this isn't your first star balm, the consistency is a bit different and it melts a lot easier. it isn't some crazy thing where you just like open the cap and a bunch of liquid lip balm comes out, it's just a little bit more greasy feeling? idk if you get what i means but overall this product is great and my favorite lip balm i've tried for my chapped lips!
