Helps control static!
I have only used this shampoo three times. I wash my hair every 3 days. I like my hair straight. This product does help keep it smooth and static free. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It leaves a greasy film on it and makes me want to wash my hair every day. My hair seems heavier.

Favorite shampoo
This shampoo is super underrated! I have thick curly hair that I straighten and this shampoo leaves my hair silky soft and manageable yet not weighed down at all! It lathers well and smells nice too.

This shampoo left my curly hair that I straighten silky soft. A shampoo alone cannot solve frizz which is an unrealistic expectation but what this does do is leave my hair soft, manageable, and gives a nice shine. I dont use the conditioner since I pair it with hydrate pureology one but that combo leaves blowouts frizz free with no weighdown which is big for someone with naturally curly hair!

Shrinkflation strikes my favorite combo
I used the Smooth Proof combo for almost 20 years and this purchase will be my last. For years I have experienced the formula become less effective and more watered down year after year, all while bearing the blow of cost increases. My hair is long, thick and porous which results in beautiful waves and body if given the correct shampoo/conditioner. The Smooth Proof combo ain't it now, because of the inefficacy and amount needed per wash which drives up the cost. Even if it was thicker, the magic is gone. It now leaves my hair dry, flat and frizzy.
