Our Paraben-free formula is also suitable for color-treated hair. We may only use sulphates in our rinse-off products. These products can be used without any fear of skin or scalp irritation as the contact with the skin is very short. Sulphates are ingredients synthesized in the laboratory from fatty alcohol and ours come from a vegetable origin. Sulphates are used at an appropriate concentration to ensure the efficiency of our products without any compromise on skin or scalp tolerance. Additionally, we offer products that do not contain any sulfates. Helps control static!
I have only used this shampoo three times. I wash my hair every 3 days. I like my hair straight. This product does help keep it smooth and static free. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It leaves a greasy film on it and makes me want to wash my hair every day. My hair seems heavier.

After 10+ years of trying everything under the sun for my dry, frizzy, Type 3 curls, this Biolage Smooth Proof shampoo & conditioner combo is the only thing that's truly worked. I've dealt with years of bleaching, color damage, and products that made big promises but left my hair feeling like hay. This one? Soft. Nourished. Touchable. And it actually lasts between washes.It does take a couple weeks to see results—so if you've got textured hair, give it time. But once it kicked in, I was hooked. It's the only combo I'll use now. Bonus? I dye my hair red (aka the hardest color to keep alive), and this shampoo doesn't strip it—even when I use moderately warm water. That never happens.
Doesn't get hair clean
I love using similar smoothing shampoos and decided to try this one, but regret that decision. It doesn't get my hair clean and after a few days of using this shampoo my hair was left so oily that immediately after showering and blow drying my hair it looked like I haven't washed my hair in days. I washed my hair with a different brand's smoothing shampoo and my hair was clean again.
