It blends in seamlessly and the coverage builds gradually and naturally. I like a lighter color, so I put one dot on my cheek and use a blush brush to blend it out. It is the perfect peach color for my pale, cool undertone skin. My skin looks dewy and fresh. It wears well all day too - no smudging off or fading. At the end of the day, removal is a breeze. When I'm feeling fancy, I layer a little liquid highlighter on top. This is seriously my favorite blush ever.

The pigmentation is stronger than I expected, but the formula blends easily and help me soften the color. Once I got the amount right, it gave me a beautiful, long lasting, and natural looking glow. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received the Fenty Beauty Shake N' Play Liquid Blush in exchange for my honest review. I swear I had picked a lighter shade, but regardless I tried the berry toned blush. This blush claims to be buildable and it definitely is. You can sheer it out or make it intense. It lasts, too. I wore it to a wedding and it was on my cotton pad when I was taking off my makeup that night. My only complaint is that it clung onto some dry patches on my skin. I moisturized prior so I thought it wouldn't be an issue. I have had this happen with other liquid blushes so it's not like this is unheard of for me. It was just more noticeable because it was a brighter color than I typically wear. I didn't wear foundation so it was on my bare skin and maybe that was the problem. I think this blush is good, however, I've been seeing a lot of liquid blushes at the drugstore or at Ulta for lower prices. I'd likely try one of them first, especially for colors you don't wear often.

I'm very cool toned, so purple blushes tend to work well for me & I'm always excited to try a purple blush! The formula lives up to its buildable claims. You can get a soft wash or bold color. I love being able to get the intensity I want without having to be really careful in my application. It says to "use 1 dot for a lil' pop, 2+ for bold," which I agree with. It can be a little tricky when first using it. It dries down quickly, so you don't have a lot of play time with it. You don't want to apply it to both sides then blend. It's likely one side will start setting by the time you get to it. So I'd recommend applying it to 1 cheek, blending, then going to the other side. As long as you work a little quicker, it's easy to work with & there's no patchiness at all. But if you don't work quick enough, it can be hard to blend & looks patchy. Once it dries down, it stays out. No transferring or fading throughout the day. It's a liquid that just melts into the skin. It has a soft matte, blurred type of finish that gives a really smooth, even airbrushed look. The applicator is nice. It's a sponge tip. It says it's designed to load the perfect dose onto the tip. It also has shaker beads to mix the blush "for fresh color every time." I really like the applicator. It doesn't get too much product on it. It's been consistent in color. Not thinner/watery sometimes, which I've had with other liquid blushes. So I think the shaker beads help. The color Violet Vice is beautiful! It might seem intimidating, especially if you're very fair like me. But don't let it stop you from trying it! Even on my very fair skin, it's beautiful. With the formula being buildable, I can wear it without having to worry about being too careful applying it. Overall, this is great! It's buildable, versatile, long-wearing, & gives a smooth, airbrushed look. Just gotta work quickly!
