With gloves, apply the Color Depositing Treatment Mask evenly to dry hair. Allow it to infuse for 10-15 minutes, embracing the transformation. You can leave it on longer for a deeper condition. Golden Rose was the first Overtone color for brown hair that I tried. Although I also love the Scarlett Red and Raspberry Pink for brown hair, this is still my go-to color. I have medium-dark brown hair with just a touch of gray, and the Golden Rose not only adds a nice tint to my brown hair, but it also turns those grey hairs a sparkly rose gold color. This is perfect for covering my gray, and I sometimes just do a touch up between full color treatments. It also blends nicely with the pink and red tones, and I'm looking forward to trying it with the Golden Copper.

I love how hydrating this product is. It makes my hair feel so soft and shiny, but the color doesn't work. I didn't use too much so I didn't expect my hair to turn very brown, but I ended up with blue streaks and no brown! I'll stick with The Remedy for nicer hair.

I've been using the Purple for Brown hair for years and since the the name change to Royal Plum, I get a blue tint instead of the deep purple I've grown to love (my signature color). I loved it for my greys, popping those deep purple tones. With the royal plum, the color is not as strong now, doesn't last, and I'm not feeling the deep conditioning and manageability the purple for brown hair had. Please bring back the 5 star original formula/color.

My natural hair is dark brown with some caramel colored highlights throughout. I put this conditioner on for 15 minutes total and the highlights turned GREEN. I have used overtone before (used to use the ginger when I was dying my hair copper to give it a boost between appointments, it worked well). My hair is tinted green now, hoping it fades quickly. You've been warned!
