Does this product work well on shoulder length hair? Do i need to use on washed hair? Dry or wet?
    Asked by Joie30
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
It depends on your hair type, but we always recommend wrapping your hair while damp (80% dry) for the best results! However, we have found that some people get better results if wrapped on dry hair, so we recommend testing it a couple of ways to find your perfect routine. I bought this and then looked at it and thought there is no way my fine hair is going to have beautiful curls with that. Wow, was I wrong! I strongly suggest watching some videos online of the various ways people are using this. I did and I have tweaked my process based on what I learned. My hair is...

I have tried to use the satin curling set three times so far. Unfortunately, my hair has not turned out looking anything like in the videos I've watched or the reviews I read. However, it might be user error. I have quite thick hair that is medium length. (I have not yet tried using special curlin...

This is so gentle on the hair and makes the most natural, gentle, modern waves on my low-porosity hair! And, I love the fresh peach color!

I slept with these in my hair and the spiral curls were absolutely beautiful the next morning. I am African American with really long thick hair 3b-c and they lasted all day. You will love them, trust me. Just make sure to part your hair like you normally would style your hair prior to putting in the rods, to not disturb the curls too much when you take them out the next day. I'm definitely keeping the satin rods as a staple in my beauty regiment!

Pros: very soft and comfy to sleep on, produces nice curls once you get the hang of it. Cons: the website says it's 1.25" but it's actually only 1" and it even says so right on the box it comes in. If I had known the true size, I would've bought something different. Half pro/half con: because it's only 1", it produces tighter curls. If you're looking for more of a looser curl (like I am), you'll want a larger size. Also, my hair is quite fine and layered so the satin makes it so that my hair slips out sometimes. If you have very fine hair, you may want a velvet rod, but the satin would be good for someone with coarser hair or fewer layers.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
