made a batch of milk tea panna cotta for my roommates using this as the tea base and it set beautifully, the black tea flavor came through clearly, and the slight sweetness meant i barely had to add sugar to the recipe. my roommates thought i'd spent hours making a complicated tea reduction. the recipe is literally 'dissolve two sachets in hot cream.' i will be doing this at every dinner party. four stars only because now i'm using twice as many sachets per week

I have mild lactose intolerance and I was nervous about the 'real milk' in this. I've been fine. I suspect the milk content per sachet is low enough that it doesn't trigger my usual symptoms, though I'll note that lactose sensitivity varies wildly by individual and I can't promise others will have the same experience. For anyone who is severely lactose intolerant: worth checking with your doctor first. For mildly sensitive folks like me: it's probably fine but proceed with awareness.
