I have 3b, 3c hair and I applied the mask and it left my hair a little stiff but after adding the moisture conditioner my hair was soft again. I later added the leave in conditioner while my hair was damp and let the steam from the shower do its thing to really infuse my strands. After I rinsed, I added the leave in conditioner while still using the steam from the shower. My hair was hydrated with defined curls. And two days later still holding the moisture and zero stiffness. I think the purpose of the mask is to seal the hair follicles to keep the moisture. To refresh my curls I used the aphogee Pro-vitamin leave in. works like charm. A friend advised using aphogee and best advice ever!!

**Based on my hair experience** I wish I could pin point what ingredient(s) my hair didn't like as this product without fail made my hair dry. After trying different methods of application: heat, baggy, cool rinse nothing made a difference. I have 3C medium density strands. I've been using this product once a week religiously since I bought it in November and nothing prevails.
