I love this mascara, but my skin is super oily and it smudges badly on my browbones. I tried They're Real lash primer underneath and it didn't help. Is there another product that could be used in combination with this mascara to keep it from smudging?

What is Benefit's stance on Animal Testing? Is this product Cruelty Free?

Since 1989, the Perfumes & Cosmetics companies of LVMH group (including Benefit Cosmetics) have not performed any tests on animals for our products - this was implemented long before the 2013 official ban set by the European Union. We are deeply committed to the elimination of animal testing. We're playing a leading role in developing alternative methods through our support of the "Fund for Alternatives to Animal Testing" in the United States. We also actively participate in validation studies of new alternative tests in the framework of the European cosmetics association, Cosmetics Europe. We are one of only a few companies to have invested in creating our own internal department to test raw materials and ingredients to further ensure the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers, which is our top priority. As a result, all Benefit products undergo very strict tolerance tests using non-animal methods during the development of each product to ensure quality and safety prior to market. Some customers expressed concern regarding the situation in China. Our products are made in Europe and for imported cosmetics, the Chinese health authorities order some test on animals: they require companies to make their products available to be tested in state-certified laboratories for registration purposes only, as it is currently their only recognized method to demonstrate product safety. I love you, mascara
I tried Bad gal and it was immediately a definite no go. I was then recommended this little baby, and OH YES! A must have from now on. It does give me a little curl, but not to the point where I don't use an eyelash curler. Length and volume is perfect!

This product does have very good volume but it is super clumpy. If you're one who loves to see your lashes separate, do not buy this product. though it is very dark and lifts my lashes very well. kinda love hate right now with roller lash.

Best mascara for short and sparse lashes
I absolute love this mascara! I have ocular rosacea which causes my lashes to occasionally break/fall out. As the lashes grow back in, they are very short. Most bushy brushes don't catch them. This brush perfectly coats even the shortest lashes making them appear much longer. It doesn't clump or smudge either. Great product!
Best mascara
Ive been using this for a couple years now. Any time I try something different i come back to this product. I have decently long lashes and i love how this is very light weight and makes my lashes look natural and long. I always get compliments.
haven't found a better mascara
in the words of Todd Howard, it just works. i put it on, I don't have to restart because I messed up and got a chunk somewhere unfortunate, and when I'm done it comes right off. Really adds length. The shape of the brush is nice, and helps with volume - I don't use the lift side much but I like a brush that isn't too bristly - it separates out my lashes nicely. Not waterproof but unless you're getting in a pool you're probably fine.

I love that it does not clump, it is very smooth to apply, separates your lashes, curls and adds length. It also last all day even in humidity but easily washes off unlike waterproof mascara.
