Surprisingly good, a revelation

i am 64 years old and have had my fair share of disappointments regarding my hair. I lost around 30% of it around 4 years ago, when I starting the menopause - my hairline had receded around 3 inches and I was slowly going bald on the right side of my head, with the left side not far behind. I had my... hormones checked and needed some medication, but otherwise did what most people do and found this helped to bring it back: nocolour treatments, brushing the ends first and working my way up, not washing it very often and using shampoo only on the roots to avoid the hairfshafts getting too dry. I also took supplements: multivit, Vit B complx, biotin and zinc. The only thing I could not get sorted was the shampoo. They all seemed to make my hair heavy, greasy after just one day and on the day after a wash, the scalp was horribly itchy. It just sort of plagued my life. Recently, as my hair quantity has come back to normal andI hadn't dyed or tinted my hair in years, I went to the hairdresser to even out my grey hairs and the dark ones at the nape of my neck. She recommended Ballayage and did a lot of it, with excellent results. In the meantime my first bar of the rice shampoo arrived and I used it - to great effect. My first experience of using a shampoo bar was about 15 years ago, and it was one from Lush - and OMG it was terrible. It created a nice lather and perked me up as contained black pepper to stimulate the scalp, but it dreid my hair out so badly within just those few minutes that I could not even get a brush through it, not even the ends, and had to soak my entire head in conditioner to do so. Awful. I threw it away in disgust. It is for this reason that I hesitated somewhat to buy this bar, but I was mistaken to do that and should have give it a go earlier. It lathered really well, washed out easily; the combination of recolouring my hair has made it nice and thick and I have not had any itchy scalp since. If it lasts as long as they say it does, I shall be super happy indeed and I will not mind the initial outlay at all. I have only used the bar once, and so must now see how it performs over the next few weeks, but I am impressed with its smell, performance, and handling overall. I shall post a picture in a few weeks so you can see the difference. But, for now, I shall say do give it a try. I think that if your hair is fine and you have lots of it, as I do, this shampoo bar will be amazing for you. I am aiming to grow my hair waistlength if possible so if it helps me do that, I will super happy indeed. Happy hair days!
