First off, this review is coming from a 3 month postpartum mom of 4 kids and one being special needs, so if I use a product at this stage of my life you better believe it needs to work and fit into my routine seamlessly. First off I think this product looks clean and is relatively small so it would ...be easy to fit in your everyday makeup bag or travel well. The squeeze tube makes this product stay hygienic and screw on top keeps the product from leaking which is a plus on bringing it for traveling. Now when coming to test this product, I put this brightener through the wringer. Let me set the stage for you in the testing of this product for the past two weeks. All my older kids & husband while traveling for 13 hours became sick and then had strep, while staying at my in-laws place. On top of that my toddler wasn't sleeping due to cutting his 2 year old molars and having nightmares and my youngest baby was going through cluster feeding and waking up 2x a night and the oldest 2 we're having coughing fits for the first 3 hours of sleep. So when I tell you I had bags for days under my eyes and face was ruddy & swollen from lack of sleep, I'm not lying and I need my products to do there thing and transform me from zombie mom to somewhat awake mom who won't scare the neighbors or grandma. So I will state, I do really enjoy this product and the idea of this product but there are two flaws that make it hard to ignore. The first flaw is the packaging, I love the metal tip but I wish it would have been a flat curved metal tip instead of the roller ball. The roller ball is wonderful when trying to calm down the under eyes, but it was extremely difficult when spreading the product. I found I was using the roller ball first to help de-puff slightly, then applying product and then using my fingers to pat out the product. The second issue is in the shade selection, there needs to be a shade in between adore & cherish. Cherish would be to peachy and dark for my winter tone while adore is to light and exasperates my under eye bags. If you have neutral warm or cool tone undertone these are perfect but if your like me who has a light to fair warm olive undertone during winter and a medium neutral golden olive skin tone in summer, it's difficult to find the correct shade for purple under bags and always needs some finagling to make any product work. Do these two problems stop me from using it? No, because the product does play beautifully with my skincare and adds a brightness under my concealer and skin tint and it does have the added protection of sunscreen. The sunscreen in this product doesn't irritate my eyes or skin. Now the feel & coverage of this product is different from rms skin tint with sunscreen. The skin tint is thicker and more emollient with surprisingly beautiful coverage and you can definitely feel it on the skin while the eye brighter is silkier, not as emollient but still has good slip. The coverage is light even when building up. After application you will feel it on the under eyes but within 10 minutes you will not feel it. this brightener does seep into fine lines at first but as long as you tap it out after it dries it will not migrate back into those lines. Now to the skincare benefits in this product it's to short to notice a change because frankly my eyebags are laughable at this point and my skin is still on struggle bus from pregnancy. So, if I'm able to come back and update this review or add a new review in a couple months on skincare benefits I will. Other than that I do recommend this product as long as you find a shade that works for you.
