I honestly wasn't expecting to notice such a big difference, but from the very first wash my hair felt incredibly clean, fresh, and lightweight. It reminded me of that salon-fresh feeling that usually only lasts for a day after a professional wash. A lot of shampoos leave my hair feeling heavy or make it lose its natural softness, but this one didn't. My hair felt silky, smooth, and full of movement without feeling stripped or dry. It was the perfect match for my hair, and I genuinely enjoyed using it. I received my recover therapy shampoo from Growus as a gift in exchange for my honest review. I have an oily scalp and this gives me a good deep clean and exfoliation. I don't like the smell. It is strong and masculine leaning. I prefer fruity or floral shampoos. I don't know if this works because I've only been using this product for a few weeks and hair growth takes months to see a difference. I will still use it, but sparingly because my hands get so dry and irritated when I use this product. Overall I have no idea if this works, but it does clean my hair well.

I was skeptical about this shampoo at first because it says it's for fine hair. My hair is very thick but damaged, but it worked great for me! I love the consistency of the shampoo. It's super easily distributed which I always find to be a problem with my thick hair. It also smells really nice and minty/herbal. The one note I will make is that the minty-ness is quite intense! The first time I used it my head, neck, and hands were tingly and cold feeling for probably like 10 minutes. It's not uncomfortable, but you can definitely feel it! I also have scalp psoriasis and was worried about it aggregating it, but it actually felt really good and soothed it!
