Spray improvement
Better for more bigger flares. I used it more when I saw an active flare up
Skin Barrier Spray
Besides the smell -- slightly like potatoes as one friend put it -- it's definitely good for keeping the skin barrier sealed and soothes some of the damaged skin on my tricky areas at the moment - neck and torso. I've had bumps pop up and if I am consistent, spraying 2-3 times a day, it does seem to soothe them along with the gel. They are still present (I believe I am having an allergy flare), but I think it would be worse without the spray and gel.
Calmed and soothed my psoriasis patches
The products are helping calm the larger patches on my skin. I stopped using my topical steroid creams and retinols for two weeks to see what would happen. While obviously not preventing the psoriasis from flaring, I enjoy using the spray and ceramide cream to help my skin not look so icky and calm the post-flare patches. I don't often feel itchy so can't comment on it being soothing or an itch relief!
Eczema Spray
Although the spray proved to work as well, I wasn't used to the spray part. Im used to applying the ointment to the affected area. The spray is definitely something new that takes getting used to. It just feels like it dries up too fast. I can see this useful in certain situations such as on the go or during a hike and you need instant relief.
the best eczema solution I've found
This stuff is a miracle. My 6-year-old has struggled with eczema since he was a baby. For a short period, it actually seemed to self improve while he was going through OIT for a peanut allergy. Thankfully he's beaten the allergy, but once he started to eat more peanuts on a regular basis, the eczema flare-ups came back. I heard about Hypothesis through a friend and decided to give it a try. To say the results were incredible is an understatement. Within just a couple of weeks his skin completely returned to normal...and for the first time he didn't complain at all about stinging or burning from the spray or serum. I highly recommend, and plan to always have some on hand.
