So drying
This lip scrub actually dried my lips out so bad. I did what I always do with any lip scrub, out an appropriate amount on, scrub gently and wipe it off with a tissue. I love this littke scrub! It's gentle enough for daily use, but does its job. The coffee smell is not overpowering. It's just enough.
Get this if you love coffee!
It doesn't have a taste and the coffee smell is very faint. I like the color. It's coffee with cream and fine granules. Perfect for daily use. If your lips are very dry and peeling, you will need a toothbrush or complexion brush to help the granules exfoliate efficiently. They are fine and gentle. I love ❤️ this product. I'm a coffee drinker and had to have it.
I don't understand the great ratings for this
What a letdown. Other people are completely right about the weird, unpleasant texture. It didn't do a dang thing to my lips. No matter how much I scrubbed or how much (or little) I used. It just downright stinks. I think I bought the ulta brand before and it did just fine, so no thanks.
Pleasantly surprised
I only got this because as an Ulta Diamond member i got to pick a free gift. I havent used lip scrubs in probably 10 yesrs becsuse i felt using a wet towel/washcloth was enough to make lips soft. In the past lip scrubs i used were too harsh for me. This one is gentle yet effective, a small amount goes a long way. While the container is small, i think it will last a long time. I rub a but on and use a wet wash cloth to remove. While i dont think this product is necessary it is making my lips feel soft snd allowing my nightly Smiths Rosebud Salve absorb better! Pleasantly surprised at how nice, gentle, and nourishing this is.
