I'm a Lorac fan. I have most all your eyeshadows and blushes. I'm a full coverage gal with very oily skin. Can I use my full coverage foundation then apply this powder over it to give me the matte oil control finish I'm looking for without getting that cakey look? Will I have to blot throughout the day? Will it be long lasting? Please give me your honest opinion. I've been on the hunt for a matte long lasting oil control powder for a very long time. Spent tons of money and wasted lots of time. I'm tired. I just want a product that works.
- Asked by twilite2000
- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertOur Porfection Baked Perfecting Powder was designed with oily skin in mind. It is a medium coverage, long wearing, baked powder that can be used alone, or on top of foundation. Unlike other powders, the finish looks airbrushed, not heavy or powdery. It also works well as a touch-up powder because it does absorb oil.Was this answer helpful to you

Flawless Coverage! Poor design!
I have combo skin and use full coverage foundation. This sets my foundation beautifully, provides full-glam, flawless face, and lasts all day with little touch-up necessary. I've been a loyal MAC girl for 10+ years. Still love MAC, but THIS is the best powder I've ever used. Worth every penny if you...

Disappointed
Let me start off with my skin. I have oily skin that is somewhat acne prone. I have been using some topical gels and creams from my dermatologist to control the acne and scarring. So, I have a clean face ready for makeup. I put on some foundation, concealer, and top it off with this guy. I just use...

Favorite powder foundation! Wish they still offered shades.
This is my favorite light-coverage foundation. I've used it for years! I think it prevents breakouts. I only wish I could still buy the shade PF2 and for a wider range of shades for those with deep skintones.
Oily skin life saver
Wow! I was curious about this product & I'm completely obsessed. I'm oily and have tried so many powder foundations, and this is a winner! It's beautiful over my sunscreen or as a setting powder! I literally can go all day without having to touch up or blot my skin!
Please Bring back shade PF2, discontinued very disappointed
Lorac discontinued PF2 Light shade which is very strange for only have 4 choices to begin with. For those that use PF2 we now have to choose form Fair or Medium beige which makes no sense. Unfortunetly I will have to search for a new Brand. I have used PF2 for years - it wpuld be great if Lorac would reconsider and bring back shade PF2 Light.
Great stuff but less product for same price
I have used this for at least 12 years. I noticed de reduction of product and the price was maintained, and also the other options of shades were cut out. There were 4 more shades than what's available now.
Hope to never have to switch brands
I love the brand Lorac but they discontinued the color I used. It is a great product. I just wish they had a sample color in the store so it could be a better match the first time around when having to buy online. I started buying this product years ago and do not want to switch to another brand.
