Shimmer shades good; Matte shades not so much
The color story of this mini palette reminds me of earthy tones. Stila Cosmetics sent me this palette, free for review, through the BzzAgent Sampling program. The matte shades blend out to nearly nothing (black and green). That was a little disappointing. The shimmer shades, however, are very pretty...

I needed a small purse sized eyeshadow and this was perfect! I got the Wild Flowers colors. Easy to blend and pigmented. The shimmery shades are beautiful! The green shade does not come off very green, more like an antique bronze that really suits my brown eyes! I love the packaging as well.

Nice to see Stila going back to its roots
This small palette seems unassuming but is quite versatile. I bought the shade Pretty Petal, and its a lovely mix of matte, shimmer, and one duochrome topper. After years of bland branding and forgettable releases, this feels true to the original spirit of Stila.

The thing I like about this eye shadow palette is the natural neutral tones. It's buildable and blends well, as long as I have a good primer set in place. It's a matte finish for me, which I prefer and can be used for a subtle pop of dimension but also can be a good dramatic look. I've enjoyed using it so far. Good for people that possibly like a more neutral shade of browns.
