I don't know if I got a bad batch or if this is normal, but this mousse smells gross. I own 15 amika products because I'm obsessed with their signature scent, but this one has a weird undertone of old cheese or ranch dressing? It's bizarre. I'm disappointed because the hold was decent, and I love almost every amika product I've used, but I just can't. I wouldn't even feel comfortable giving it away. It's easy for me to develop negative associations with scents, like if something that smells nice is used to cover up a bad odor, the two scents are forever intertwined in my memory. I can't have a weird cheesy can of mousse ruining my love of amika's signature scent. This is the only amika product I own that smells bad.
Love this product!
I use this mousse in combination with the Brooklyn blow dry spray. When it comes to both products, you don't want to over do it, a little goes a long way! I have a bob just above my shoulders and use the size of a ping pong ball to get amazing results. Hair is not left sticky and the volume really lasts all day (and beyond). This product also has a nice smell that is not overpowering.

My hairdresser used this and my hair looked amazing after I left. My hair is wavy, but I always blow it out straight. This mousse gave me the body I needed so my hair didn't look flat.
Loving it!
I was recommended by my stylist to get a mousse for styling my curly hair, and so far Amika's "Plus Size Perfect Body Mousse" seems to be doing wonders for my hair! I have struggled with how to maintain my curls, and I do see a difference by adding this to my hair routine. My tip would be to use as directed, and start with a small pump to see how much you need to use to style your hair for your desired look :)
