I bought because it was the most expensive so I thought would be the best. The sedu and dry bar work faster. Took me so long to straighten my hair. The grip also hurt my fingers.

Straight hair in seconds
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been needing a new straightener for a while so I was so excited to try this Platinum Styler flat iron. The straightener is so easy to use and have some cool features. Once it's plugged in and you press the power button, it plays a little tune to indicate it's on. It heats up pretty quickly in less than 30 seconds and tells you it's ready to use with another tune. I'm super impressed with how well this straightener works. Not only does it heat up in seconds, it also straightens my hair in less than 5 mins. The heat is super powerful. My other straightener took forever to heat up and did not really straighten as well as this. This straightener also has other safe features like sleep mode. I love that it comes with a heat proof guard to store and place the flat iron in after use to protect yourself from the heat while it's cooling down.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The ghd Platinum+ Styler 1" is such a luxurious styling tool. This flat iron is a smart flat iron meaning it reads your hair's needs while you are using it. It also never goes above 365 degrees so it never burns your hair. My hair is so shiny and smooth. I can also make loose waves to my hair which is an added bonus. I also like that it has an automatic sleep mode as well as well as universal voltage so you can use it anywhere in the world! It is a very well-made flat iron. It also has a long cord allowing you to style anywhere. I would definitely recommend this hair tool.
Not one size fits all
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was SO EXCITED for this Styler. I heat style my hair every day and was about due for a new flat iron. Its beautifully packaged and very sleek. I read the instructions and it was simple- turn it on, wait 30 seconds and good to go. The first thing I noticed is there is no temperature setting. I used it on half my hair and it was amazingly sleek, so I finished the other side. This is where the good ends. I went to my monthly hair appointment the following day and my hairdresser said my ends of my hair were fried- she asked if I did something different. Oops. A quick Google search discovered this tools auto temp is 365 degrees.. I heat style at 310. There is no way to turn it down.. so it became a "no" for me. Cool concept, not one size fits all.
Do not buy any flat irons from Ulta
So I bought this completely overpriced flat iron and it stopped working after five months. Ulta would not help me because they said it was past like 90 days. I was appauled. Something i bought from you stopped working after five months and they wouldnt even replace it or give store credit. I am calling GHD and they arent picking up. Do not buy anything from Ulta that cost more than 50 dollars. It is not worth the headache
