Lip Protector!
I love this product! I use it when I am outside playing sand volleyball. I forget my lips need protection too and I find this Coola brand really protects from the rays of the sun. I love the smell and texture as well!

Works well for me
I bought this about six months ago in the pink tinted version. There is no visible tint when applied so I wonder why they bothered. I don't detect any product taste when wearing it. I like that the size of the balm itself has a larger diameter and goes on smoothly and the quality of the outer packaging as well (it's held up very well). And the main thing I like is the spf protection.
Not the best product for the brand
I like the high spf 30 for my lip however it feels slightly gritty and hard to apply onto my lips and leaves a sand-like texture/taste that transfers and I can feel in my mouth. Also, the tint is nonexistent when you apply it to your lips. It's not a product I can recommend or repurchase. I gave the 2 stars for the spf, I got it on sale so you do get a good amount of product for the price and the package is nice.
The taste, for me, is a deal breaker.

Comments about Original Liplux® Lip Balm Sunscreen
I'm a sailor and recently learned I'm allergic to 4 things that are in almost every home and personal care product I've been using. I have been looking high and low to replace my 30 SPF lip balm that I love and can no longer wear and, after striking out again and again, I was able to confirm that Coola was free of my particular allergens, thanks to Hope, in Customer Service, with whom I emailed about it. The reviews were mostly good so I took the plunge. This balm goes on smooth and initially the flavor seems pleasant but after a few minutes (for me, anyway) it takes a bitter turn and I find the taste really awful. So awful that I don't want to use it. So I haven't. But they get high marks for packaging, customer service, the feel of the stuff on my lips. The tube it comes in is also solid… it has a screw on attribute built in to the cover to keep it from opening up and getting damaged. I wish I would have liked it more.
Not for me
Was looking forward to wearing this on no makeup days but it makes my lips very chapped almost instantly and there is absolutely no tint to my lips. Might be better for someone else but not for me.
