horrible formula
chunky and pretty dry on first use of the Polish. will not buy OPI again. thought it would be better given Lincoln Park After Dark but the formula is different and garbage. mixer ball it's probably plastic and doesn't really work. clunky and dries as I'm trying to paint my nails. waste of money. oh! and the glitter isn't even showing up when I paint my nails. total flop
Nice polish, color not as expected
I do like this opi nail polish, it goes on smooth and dries fairly quickly. 2 coats works well, could probably get away with one if you wanted. I got this color bc i saw they brought it back after not having it for awhile and people were talking about it. The description does describe it as a purple but the photo looks more red to me. Its definitely purple tho in person. Its pretty but i just was expecting something more reddish than purple.
pretty but one con
i got the "every nonth is oktoberfest" and on the website it looks more of a dark reddish wine but the color is kinda off. in the nails ot has a nore cool tones blue sharpy-ish color then after another coat its straight up purple so that kinda sucks but the metallic shine is pretty so. a really big pro is it dries very fast like very fast and one thin coat is already so much pigment which is great. just wish the color eas spot on or as advertiesed. try it out if you like.
pretty color, not what I expected though
it's advertised as a deep purple but when I opened the box and pulled out the bottle I thought they sent me the wrong one because it looks red. I did a quick little swatch on my nail and realized there is a somewhat deep plum purple muted base and the glitter in it is red. with two layers three max it would be pretty it definitely needs a couple coats though otherwise it isn't that opaque. my biggest complaint is that I haven't bought a new OPI polish and many years and I pulled out some of my old bottles pre-covid and it's very obvious where they are cutting corners now. the handle of the bottle is flimsy cheap not enjoyable to hold or touch because they used to be smooth and now they're this really cheap looking and feeling bumpy plastic and they were plastic before but you had wait to it you could tell it was made well. the bottle handle is not made well anymore. also my number one complaint is the mixing bowl is basically non-existent. I'm assuming it's maybe plastic now? and it is at least half the size of the old one I didn't waste any product looking for it but it's obvious based on shaking it because at first I literally thought they took the agitator ball out because I couldn't hear anything. so I don't think I will be purchasing from OPI again? there are some other brands that I have found in the past 6 years that I really enjoy and there are some very affordable places to buy those brands and I prefer the colors offered elsewhere so while I will keep this one I don't think I will be returning to opi in the future and I I was obsessed with a lot of their colors for the last 15 years so it's a shame to see this
I would buy this again.
Love the color and stays on well.
