The original Revlon one step styler was perfect in every way except that it gets VERY hot. I was so excited to try the "upgraded" version that had more heat settings. Hair Type Straight Hair
I recently pulled this product out to use, and within the first minute or two of using it, the brush made a shorting noise, began to smell, and the power lowered. I unplugged it and plugged it in again, only for the issues to continue. I reached out to Revlon in hopes of obtaining a replacement. After taking photos and submitting all of the information (via their online form AND email), they declined to provide a replacement because I discarded the item and could not slice open the wiring to send them more photos. This has been disappointing - it was hardly used, had an electrical issue, and when I was even willing to try the product again, I had to jump through hoops and was still denied a replacement. I won't buy Revlon products anymore if they won't back their products (let alone the potential electrical defects). I'm seeing others' reviews of a similar experience. It's a shame because Revlon is such a legacy brand.

I've used the product twice so far
After using it twice, I absolutely love it. The noise sounds just like a hairdryer. It works really well. I don't really have any complaints. I will update a couple months from now if it breaks.

TOXIC PLASTIC SMELL. I was so excited for this since the top comes off which would make it easier to clean. But when using it, there was a horrible plastic smell, so toxic. I returned it the next day and invested in a normal style blow dryer.
