After shampooing + rinsing, depending on the thickness of your hair, squeeze a dime to quarter-sized amount into your palm. Apply to wet hair starting at the ends and working your way up to the top, avoiding the last inch or two near the root. Wait 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Kristin Ess Purple Shampoo works well for taking the brassy tones out of my hair after dying it. I'm naturally brunette and dye my hair a shade of light blonde so purple shampoo helps give me a salon look with at home products.

I was very skeptical, whenever I first tried the shampoo because it did not seem to suds up well at all, but I was thoroughly impressed when I washed it out. My hair felt and looked very clean. It got rid of all of the brassiness in my hair in just one wash. It smells fantastic and the scent was long lasting. This is my new go to purple shampoo.

Perfect for blonde hair to cancel out brassy tones! It is important to note that this should only be used once a week due to its strong ingredients. I typically leave it on for 10 minutes and my hair looks less brassy!
