Not for sensitive skin
I tried this out because the esthetician at ulta claimed it was gentle, unscented, and safe for sensitive skin. It's certainly scented and has several pore clogging ingredients. After using daily in the morning for 1 week, i can say it made my skin glow for hours and was a nice base for makeup. However since then I've broken out and i will not continue to use.
hydrating
**I purchased this with my own money** I have dry skin so I am always on the hunt for products that support the barrier and hydrate, and this does both! This really is a great hydrating & repair serum. I do not have any irritation or redness from this, which is a huge plus for me, just smooth skin. I personally feel the difference in my skin when I remove my makeup and skincare at the end of the day and when I wake up. My skin feels baby-soft, so that indicates that it's working deeper in the skin, not just the surface. My only complaint is that it has a potent scent which smells like synthetic coconut water/milk. It's pretty strong, so those sensitive to fragrance may experience irritation. For me, for my dry skin, I love this serum!

Quite honestly wasn't sure how this would go. I love everything else i use from you guys, my facial gal said, "build your barrier" lord am I, even my husband said, your look glassy and moisturized. Like obviously. Topped it with the vitamin c moisturizer! Will be buying again!
Restored my skin barrier after a severe chemical burn
I had a terrible reaction to hydroquinone and my skin was practically peeled off. The put the serum as serum on at night and mixed it in with my moisturizer in the morning. This practically saved my skin barrier all by itself. To note: I have oily/acne skin and didn't break me out at all. Keep in mind it makes you super dewy!
