A bone to pick
The pencils themselves are fine, but I want to write this to warn others about the hassle I got from Ulta. I ordered a DIBS lip pencil and the tip melted to the top of the lid and broke off about 1/4 of the core of the pencil. I used the chat, sent pics and asked for a replacement and was told I'd have to wait for an investigation. Then I get an email stating based on the internal investigation of my account and tracking, they were "unable to assist me with a refund or a replacement" in all caps. First of all, what the heck does that even mean, "my account?" I'm a frequent customer of Ulta and I keep between 95-100% of what I buy, so what's wrong with my account? And no explanation, just the insinuation that I have to accept a damaged high-end lip liner, even though shipping never includes receipts or includes enough packing to protect the goods. Then another employee emails me saying she's sorry about the incident but that she wasn't allowed to disclose what they'd been investigating. Ulta, PLEASE don't turn into the store that jilts their customers. I love Ulta, but if I'm going to be sent damaged products and told to suck it up, bye.
Love the color but hate the quality
It looked fine so i threw the noxes away but as soon as i go to use the lip liner, the inside color fell out of the pencil when i took the cap off. Cant return it because I didnt keep the box. Very disappointed because out of all the Dibs liners I've purchased, XOXO was my favorite color and sadly cant use it.
They need to rethink packaging
I've now purchased two different Dibs lip liners and while I have loved the color and the product itself, both times the cap has broken off the liner pencil down to the base so I can't use it anymore since it can't be sharpened. I just received my latest one at the end of last week and only used ONCE before the cap completely broke the pencil off. So disappointing at this price point.
Defective
Was excited to try this but got a defective product. It was too long and broke off as soon as I uncapped.
