So I gave it 4 star because of few reason, first, it's doesn't feel anything on my hair when I use moderate quantity. I have to use it a lot. Second, i doesn't feel enough moisturizing on my hair. It works good when use with conditioner and makes your curls very manageable and frizz free and that's what I like the most. Attaching some pictures for the difference.

I received free product in exchange for my honest review. I never had a cleanser that doesn't lather so it takes some time getting used too but I love the cleanser. I have a dry scalp but this helped add moisture to my hair while feeling clean.
Terrible since they changed the formula
I used all things DevaCurl religiously for 10 years. But then they changed the formula, and I completely left the brand because now nothing Deva works for my hair. Fine, type 2 curls/waves here.

Smells wonderful and doesn't make my daughter's hair feel greasy. Keeps the frizz down to a minimum and extremely easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

I really wasn't happy about the product. It took me so long to write a review because I needed more time to give it the benefit of the doubt. My hair was falling using this product and had a reaction to the product. Stopped forn1 week from using it. And tried again and it happend again. I had to get rid of it.
