Heavy duty moisturiser

I ordered this expecting a richer version of the original moisturising factors. This product is very thick and emollient and probably most suited to night-time use for me. Although my skin is on the dry side this is a bit too thick and greasy for daytime use under make up or Spf for me. If you're ex...

Way too expensive

Sure, the product is fine, but the ingredients do not justify the price. The main reasons why I'm choosing The Ordinary products are the price point AND the quality. However, since Estee Lauder's acquisition I am afraid that the prices won't be as accessible as they used to be anymore, which is quit...

I will say a little goes a very long way so it is definitely worth the money. However, I have noticed that my neck and cheeks get "dry and flaky". Im sure its just the product, I havent had an issue with other Ordinary moisturizers but I have to add another lightweight moisturizer to my face after in order for the flaky patches to not appear. It is oily once you apply as well. I feel like this bottle is never ending so once I can finally use it all I wont be getting jt again lol

I didn't know it was possible for a moisturizer to sink into and accentuate every line and discoloration on my face. It may me feel and look old.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Troubling Ingredients

While i used this product for a while and cannot specifically link my breakouts to this product, it does have many troubling ingredients that are known to cause brekouts as many people have pointed out. However when I was using it I did like the consistanch as it was nice on your skin. Overall, I would skip out if your skin is more acne prone.

More wrinkle & pimples

In the three weeks I've been using this, I have gotten pimples and more wrinkles than I have in the past 10 years! Multiple small wrinkles have appeared on my cheeks. Plus it's way too greasy. Back to Olay!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Amazing for deep hydration!

I have been using for approx 3 months and am VERY impressed with how much more hydrated my skin is. It is a bit thick but in my opinion doesn't feel overly sticky or heavy. I dont have any issue wearing under my tinted sunscreen or cream foundation. But for me the biggest surprise has been in the area around my eyes! SOOOOOOOOO much less crepey looking under my eyes and crows feet and at almost 60, it absolutely has improved the look and feel of my skin. I RARELY leave reviews but absolutely love this and wont go without!
