I have use all of NARS Foundations and they are all amazing. The natural matte is by far the best.Ita not too matte and it's not too dewy ( which can give an oily look). This one is perfect!!

I miss the old matte formula. I've worn the same shade for years and this formula is not a match even though it's the same shade. I tried other shades in this formula and I can't find a match. This formula also doesn't have good coverage.
Dry and flat
It seems i am in the minority here but i lowkey hate this foundation lol. I have combo skin with some redness and discoloration. This foundation is medium coverage, when i tried to build it up to full coverage it got cakey. It did feel light on the skin but also it didn't because it felt so drying that i wanted to scratch it off. The first time i wore this with only a moisturizer and that wasn't nearly enough hydration. Day 2 i wore it with my most hydrating primer and it felt less dry but it didn't look less dry. The finish for me was a very flat matte which i personally don't like. So yeah to sum it up its, drying, medium coverage, cakey, and has a flat finish. I was so bummed because everyone seems to love this product
It beats the soft matte version
I was so very upset when I found out they were going to be retiring the soft matte version and replacing it with this and I wasn't planning on picking it up but ulta had a sale and I decided to try it and I love it. It almost as matte as the soft matte version but its much lighter in texture. I love that you cant feel this on your face. I will say if you have the shade Alexandria in the light reflecting foundation that shade is a half a shade darker in this foundation but it still works for me.
