Q
How many times a day do you use the product
Asked by DNA
Official Answer By NailTek - Brand Engage
Just once a day is all you need! With the NailTek Repair System, consistency is more important than frequency. You’ll want to apply it once a day to clean, dry nails — that gives the formula time to work its magic and help strengthen and repair your nails. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
When I remove nail polish do I need to reapply resin & powder again? How easy is to remove nail polish with this on your nail?
Asked by Taunya
Official Answer By NailTek - Brand Engage
You don’t have to reapply every time, unless the resin/powder has been compromised. Polish comes off easily, just use the right remover and be gentle! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Again, I have multiple Q's I'm asking separately to help others. Some reviewers mentioned the nail buffer is very small and weak. Can I use another nail buffer? Can I use any kind of nail buffer or am I limited to the one that comes with this kit?
Asked by 2of❤️sMarkHerPage
Official Answer By NailTek - Brand Engage
Yes, you can absolutely use another nail buffer if you find the one in the kit too small or not strong enough for your preference. That said, just make sure you’re using a gentle, fine-grit buffer (ideally around 240 grit or higher) especially when prepping your nails for the NailTek Resin & Powder System. Over-buffing or using something too coarse can thin or damage your natural nail, which we definitely want to avoid. So feel free to swap it out — just keep it gentle, and you’re good to go!Was this answer helpful to you

Q
How do you remove it from your nail, I've tried everything?
Asked by ETS2025
Official Answer By NailTek - Brand Engage
Thanks so much for reaching out! Sorry to hear you're having trouble removing the repair. Let’s walk you through how to safely remove your mend without causing more damage! For the best results, follow these gentle, step-by-step instructions: STEP 1: In a dappen dish or small cup, add enough polish remover to fully submerge your nail. Mix in a few drops of cuticle oil to help condition your nails during removal. STEP 2: Soak your nail briefly until the product becomes gummy or tacky in texture. STEP 3: Using an orangewood stick, gently push the softened product from the cuticle down toward the free-edge. Repeat this step until the product is fully removed. [ PRO TIP: If any product remains, repeat steps 1-3 until it lifts easily. ] STEP 4: Once all residue has been removed, wash your hands thoroughly and apply cuticle oil to hydrate and restore the nail and surrounding skin. That’s it! Your nail is now ready for a fresh start. Was this answer helpful to you

•Better than the tea bag method•

I grow my nails out but I'm pretty rough on them between cleaning, work, and gardening so some breaks are expected. I like the tea bag and super glue method to repair bad breaks but it often peels off my nail too easily regardless of prep.. yet holds onto the torn nail, increasing the breakage. I ca...

Not impressed

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This nail repairing system is very easy to use. The nail file/buffer is small and cheap. After 24 hours it was peeling off of my nail ALREADY. They should have a better system when it comes to adding the powder because it gets wasted. The li...

Beware: Wipe Down Bottle After Use!

Submitted 15 days ago

By Ela

From Allentown, PA

I've had decent use with this product keeping my split nail together, but BEWARE! After only a couple uses, the top cemented to the bottle; I can no longer open it and need to buy a new one. Always wipe down the handle/top before screwing back on!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Worked for me

By Alysha

The knife slipped while I was cutting butternut squash and sliced right through the middle of my nail. As it began to heal I was concerned about the nail snagging & got tired of wearing a new bandaid daily. This stuff really works for that purpose!

11th day and still working. Chipped around edges but smooth over injured nail.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Difficult to use, barely lasted a day

Submitted 2 months ago

By MJ

From Idaho

The resin was easy, but powder was hard to apply accurately. Instructions don't tell you how long between steps. The final resin layer just pushed the powder around. It ended up on my other fingers, too, and was hard to remove. Didn't last a day.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Patch lasted a single day

By Shannon

From Colorado

I followed the very simple directions exactly and the crack came through the polish the next day, unfortunately. The powder shaker also seems wasteful, since it's hard to get it just on the little crack and not on a wide area.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
