For optimal results, follow these steps on a bare nail: Apply a thin layer of Break Fix over the nail break, concentrating between the crack. Using tweezers or a toothpick, gently press the broken nail together to help the edges bond as the formula dries. Allow to dry completely. Apply a second thin coat, and a third if needed. Allow a complete drying time of approximately 3 minutes between coats.
Precautions: Keep from heat or flame.

Must have Nail Patch!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I absolutely love this Essie Nail Patch! It works great and fast. The smell isn't bad either, no worse than fingernail polish. Put 1 coat let it dry, then put the 2nd coat, then the 3rd coat let dry. It has a clear appearance, and is very easy to apply. Once applied it makes the break area very strong and thick. Right on time
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I used the nail fix for my peeling nail before applying the first coat of the nail polish. It smoothed out the surface well. But this nail patch is right on time for me because in the spring my nails usually need extra care so I'm going to use it quite often.

This stuff REALLY WORKS

I have never fixed a broken nail in my life, this stuff is anazing! I can't stop saying that. I highly recommend. It only takes about three mins to dry and saves you two weeks of awkward growing time for regrowing the nail you broke!
