I love this shampoo, my hair looks and feels so much better since I started using the shampoo and conditioner. I dont get knots and tangles in my hair. I use in combination with the conditioner. I will not be going back to drug store shampoo or conditioner!

Smells like men's deodorant

I could smell this shampoo as soon as I opened my Ulta box. It has a strong men's deodorant/soap scent. I tried it anyway. The shampoo is dyed a deep teal color, which is unnecessary, because the shampoo bottle is not clear. It didn't really get my hair clean, which is pretty common with modern shampoos for some reason. My hair felt spongey. Also, my hair seemed drier after using a couple times, but it's hard to say for sure. It definitely did not feel more hydrated than usual.
No moisture in sight
I love Joico but this product does not moisturize at all. I will be returning.
