Not good if moving around a lot
I was able to get this to work after a long couple of tries except while at work it would eventually slip it self undone cause of me moving my head and bending over and such. I think it would be fine if you work a desk job or just need a quick up do for a moment but it did not do what I needed.

Have never used a hair fork before and am very impressed with this. It holds my hair well, for me the only issue is user error, i.e. I am not the best at getting my hair in the right shape before I stick the fork in it, and there is definitely some technique required to put the fork in correctly so it doesn't feel too loose or too tight. This is a beautiful piece though, and the curve it has sits perfectly flush with the curve of my head, making it much nicer than a normal straight hair fork or stick. Very elegant look to it when I get it in right too!
