Start with clean, dry nails. Push back cuticles and lightly buff the nail surface for smooth application. Finish with a base coat to protect your nails and enhance the polish's longevity.
Apply a thin layer of polish starting from the center of the nail, then fill in the sides. The rounded tip allows for easy, precise application near the cuticles.
Wait about 1-2 minutes between coats. Reduced dry time formula means you won't have to wait long!
For richer color and full coverage, apply a second thin coat using the same technique.
To extend wear and prevent chipping, brush the polish across the free edge of each nail.
For a high-gloss, long-lasting finish, apply a clear top coat and let it dry completely.

My review picture shows what the chipping looked like 4 days after applying. I first noticed it chipping after 3 days. Each day after its gotten more significant. I didn't use a base coat or top coat simply to see how fast it would take to chip and what it looks like as-is. Very easy to paint on. For the price its not bad. The How to Use instructions on Ulta does say to use a top coat for longer lasting polish and a base coat as well, so that would improve the longevity so 3-4 days is about how long you can go without chipping if you don't use a base and top coat. The color is vibrant and this color is perfect for fall and winter but it also beautiful right now in the summer.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I recently tried the China Glaze Nail Polish in red, and it's safe to say I'm obsessed! The color is the perfect classic red—rich, vibrant, and super glossy. It applies smoothly with great coverage in just one coat, but I always do two for that extra pop.
