Start with clean, dry nails. Push back cuticles and lightly buff the nail surface for smooth application. Finish with a base coat to protect your nails and enhance the polish's longevity.
Apply a thin layer of polish starting from the center of the nail, then fill in the sides. The rounded tip allows for easy, precise application near the cuticles.
Wait about 1-2 minutes between coats. Reduced dry time formula means you won't have to wait long!
For richer color and full coverage, apply a second thin coat using the same technique.
To extend wear and prevent chipping, brush the polish across the free edge of each nail.
For a high-gloss, long-lasting finish, apply a clear top coat and let it dry completely.

*I received a free sample in exchange for an honest review.* I was really happy with China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat. It was easy to apply, gliding on smoothly and not drying and clumping when going from one nail to the next. The handle for the brush was comfortable to hold. Maybe an odd thing to note, but I've experienced some polishes in the past with handles that were too small to have a good hold, making it difficult to apply. China Glaze base coat dried quickly, giving a great barrier to keep my nails protected while also providing a smooth surface for color polish application. I felt that it helped the color polish last slightly longer than others I've tried in the past. I'm a full-time working mom with a toddler and baby, so I absolutely need products that work efficiently! My nails also take a beating from daily baby bottle washing! I didn't have time in a single sitting to also apply color to my toe nails, but I was actually happy with how the base coat looked alone! It was clear with a slight shine, so I still looked more put together. I would definitely buy China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat again in the future.

I've finally ended my search for a truly reliable, chip-preventing nail product with the China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat. This product is a must-have to keep my manicures looking flawless. The formula applies beautifully and it is incredibly quick-drying, which is a huge plus when I'm short on time. It goes on smooth but leaves a slightly tacky surface, creating the perfect bonding grip for color application. What really sets it apart from other brands is how long-lasting my manicures have been. Anytime I've just applied nail polish by itself, I would constantly see chipping after just a couple of days. I even tried using other brand base coats and would have the same problem. With China Glaze, my manicures have now lasted for more than a full week and still look salon-fresh. Aside from a long-lasting manicure, this product also acts as a strong protective barrier, preventing my nails from staining, even when I use dark, highly pigmented colors. This base coat can even be used by itself for a clear, polished, and professional look when you don't have time for a full manicure. My only minor critique is that the polish has a thicker consistency, so applying a very thin, even coat takes a little extra attention. The key is to use it sparingly. Overall, this is an excellent, high-quality product that has earned a permanent spot in my weekly nail care routine. Highly recommended! 5 stars across the board!

Compared to previously used ones, this base coat dried quickly. The nail polish adhered to it very well, and even after a week, my nails still looked like they did when I first painted them. No chips or blemishes.

I used this base coat when using a really pale color that I have struggled with in the past and this stuff has GRIPPED that color on!! Really even application, it dried pretty quickly and is serving as the perfect base!
