A Shame
Shimmering Mulberry is one of my favorite gloss shades, but I said it two years ago, & I'll say it again: The click-pump paired with the circular, spongey tip has to be the worst packaging design I've seen. Clicking will dispense WAY too much product, and the tip doesnt make for easy application. If they redesigned the tube, I know this line would would constantly sell out.
I regret even putting this on my lips
I received a free gift in the shade "shimmering hibiscus" and I can see why it was free. This was a glitter bomb that made me look like a toddler playing in their mom's makeup and craft supplies. It was impossible to wash off, the applicator was bizarre for a lip oil/lip product, and it didn't have any noticeable plumping effect. 0/10, would not recommend, even in a non-shimmer shade.

I received Shimmering Hibiscus as a free gift with my order, and I now understand why it was free. I genuinely cannot imagine a person intentionally wanting this much gold glitter on their lips. "Shimmering" does not adequately describe what is happening here. This is FULL glitter. I put it on, immediately realized I had made a terrible mistake, and tried to wash it off. Somehow this only distributed the glitter more efficiently across my entire mouth and hands. I washed my lips WITH SOAP and there is still glitter on me. At this point I think I would need to shower to fully get it off. And then there is the applicator. It is a bizarre little sponge that somehow manages to be simultaneously too flexible and too stiff, making it possibly the least effective shape I can imagine for applying a lip product. All the product pools at the base of the sponge and makes it so hard to actually get on your lips. Whose idea was this? I am convinced these are being given away as free gifts because no one would willingly purchase one, and unfortunately Tarte's inventory problem has now become my glitter problem. Proceed with extreme caution unless your desired aesthetic is "glitter bomb detonated directly on mouth."
Not for me
Day one… did not like this. Very pretty color but the tube is a click up and it wastes ALOT of product to get the product to the top. Color doeant atay needs reapplied often. Product is VERY sticky. I was very disappointed and felt like this was a waste of money.
Love it Just Wish There Was More of It!
I Love this product because, living in super hot Arizona, I can leave it in my car without fearing that i'll melt and spill all over. I just honestly wish that, because of it's high price, there was more product in the tube!
