A little too oily for me.
I have normal skin. I love using makeup cleansing balms as the first step to removing my makeup at the end of the day. I tried the CeraVe Makeup Removing Cleanser Balm and it quickly and easily melted my makeup away - like most balms do. However, it left a very slimy , slippery , oily residue after ...

Saved my skin
I have very sensitive, acne prone skin. I have to be incredibly careful when implementing a new product. I tried this as an alternative to washing my face at night, which may sound crazy, but doing this has completely restored my skincare routine and I now have a nice, dewy low. I always make sure to rinse after using it, of course. I will say it's not very effective at taking off mascara, though.
NO BETTER CLEANSING BALM!
I will only ever buy this cleansing balm. Super effective at cleansing makeup, I've tried other balms that irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin. This balm doesn't irritate my skin and I have repurchased it several times. The only issue with this product is the small size. I wish they made a jumbo version so I didn't have to repurchase as often.
Will not clean off mascera
Don't waste your money. It won't clean off mascera.

This cleanser works on all makeup, even mascara with good staying power. Also soft on my skin. Totally worth it. Will buy again
I can't get past the smell
This works pretty good for removing my makeup, even waterproof mascara, but the smell is so much. That I dread using it. The smell alone is enough for me to keep looking for a different make up removing balm.
