*My comment is after having used it for nearly 2 years without skin irritations, zero burning, zero breakouts, uncompensated, without biased to any other products, and designated for ALL skin tones. I'm multicultural and have melonated skin. ** The longest memoir version of a review below is what...'s worked for me, tips, and why I'm using it as a dollar-stretching multi-tasker for all skin. Recommended for all skin tones and ethnicities. It's one of FEW products that offers 50 SPF for both face AND body in a healthy, noncommogenic blend and has stayed reasonably affordable despite competitors. The Black Girl Magic Hybrid 50 SPF IS one of the best sunscreens EVER - yes it does take a learning curve to dispense small amounts of the liquid-consistency lotion because of the packaging but DON'T let that deter you from such a healthy, full-coverage product. Best of both worlds, covering face and body easily and at a dope price, high SPF, and a little goes a loooooong way! Be patient..... When you first apply this to your skin it should be the LAST step in whatever your personal process might be, depending on if you're toning, serums, and moisturizing you want to give those other steps at least 30 seconds to 1 minute to absorb into your skin. Then apply this SPF last. You will notice a white cast initially, but it has to process - just like all of us. Give it a minute to absorb into your skin and then look in the mirror because you're going to look and feel like a delicious rockstar : ) I'm usually indoors throughout the workdays. I apply about a dime size on a reusable cloth face pad and gently swipe then dap over face and neck/breast and some of the top shoulder area - this helps me preserve the sunscreen and not overapply it. I know this is redundant but GENTLY apply/swipe/dab, not wiping or pulling the skin or product too aggressively or too quickly. Then use a little larger amount with hands if needing for allover coverage depending on the day/activities/clothing. Let it absorb and then continue with your day . *Don't assume to apply this and then go about your day outside immediately - within 15 mins you should be about ready to go outside with this glow protection-factor - AFTER the white cast absorbs. Humbly put your pride and ego to the side when reapplying later in the day because the sunscreen needs to absorb into the skin again and then it becomes invisible. If you're wanting a purely sheen/invisible look without the zest of glow, go to the bathroom until it absorbs 1st, or just ignore caring that others might notice that you're protecting your skin.. : ) ... and/or try the brand Supergoop Unseen - but downside on that is it's a smaller container, less SPF, more expensive, and a one or the other type of sunscreen whereas *Black Girl Magic Hybrid is quality AND value for both face AND body, and keeps skin looking and feeling on point, glowing, healthy and protected, not clogging or masking feeling. WINNING! I suggest using Black Girl Magic Hybrid 50 at home before the day starts and trying the Supergoop Unseen as travel/on the go option for reapplying sunscreen throughout the day.
