 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream

This is a new purchase for me, so I'm sharing a first impression and will update my review after I've used it consistently. I've already had a wonderful experience with SKIN1004's Madagascar Centella Ampoule, so I wanted to try an eye product from the same brand. I chose the Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream because I wanted something that would complement my Korean skincare routine while focusing on hydration and care for the delicate eye area. I have combination/oily skin and prefer skincare that feels gentle and works well alongside my Anua and Centella products. I'm looking forward to seeing how the texture wears under my eyes and how my eye area responds with consistent use. I'll update once I've had enough time to give it a fair evaluation.

I love what this cream does for my eyes, it brightens and soothes and is very sensitive skin friendly. But I got this as my day eye cream because it doesn't have retinol, and every time I try to put it on make up it pills up, rolls up, leaves peely layers, and I have to remove the makeup and the eye cream and put on something else so that I can wear makeup. I've tried different concealers and foundations and it does the same thing always.

Texture-wise, this is what really stood out to me: creamy but lightweight, in such a way that it doesn't feel greasy/heavy under the eyes. It absorbs pretty quickly and works well under sunscreen and concealer-zip pilling here. I love that it doesn't sting one bit, even on days when my skin barrier is acting up. It's also very light and refreshing. Result-wise, I didn't see dramatic wrinkle removal, but my under-eye area looks smoother and a bit brighter. The biggest difference was the dryness-my fine lines look softer because the area stays hydrated longer throughout the day. The bakuchiol seems gentle; I've reacted to retinol eye products before, but this didn't cause irritation or milia. It's more of a maintenance eye cream than an anti-aging one. If you have deep wrinkles/eyebags, you probably won't see huge changes. It works better as a preventive or soothing barrier-support eye cream rather than a corrective treatment. All in all, it feels like more of a daily eye cream for sensitive skin than a miracle worker — and I actually like that about it. I'd recomend it especially if retinol eye creams are too much for you but you want something that will improve the texture over time. It makes me feel super refreshed as a part of my skincare routine.

I've been using this eye cream for a couple of weeks now, and I think it's pretty good overall. It's not amazing, but it feels like a solid option for the price. The formula is rich and creamy, yet it still absorbs easily into the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. One of my favorite things about this product is the packaging—the tube has a soft, silicone doe-foot applicator that makes it really easy to apply exactly where you want. I like swiping it on and then gently patting it in. There's no noticeable scent, which is a plus for an eye cream. I haven't seen a big difference in the skin around my eyes yet, but it's still early. Ultimately, I'd give this a 3/5. It's good, but not great, and while I enjoyed using it, I probably wouldn't repurchase since there are stronger options out there. I received this product for free for my honest review.
