Misleading swatches & disappointing wear

Very basic cream stick highlighter
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This stick highlighter has a very light application and is not buildable. I used it a few times on my cheekbones, brow bones and inner corner of my eye. It dissipates quickly and would require being reapplied.
Pretty
Overall it was a pretty shine from the highlighter stick, but I didn't love the rose pink with my makeup it looked off
Misleading swatches & disappointing wear
I was very excited about this product bht unfortunately am disappointed. The promo photos make it seem like a "wet" looking highlighter, which is what I wanted. In real life, it is a "sparkly" highlighter. It looks pretty, but not what I was looking for. It is easy to apply, (just rub the stick on your face or pick it up with a brush) but has a very tacky texture that removes product underneath it. It also is difficult to blend. Without blending, there is a clear line of application. With blending, I found that the product sheers out more than I would like, and because it is sparkly with fine glitters in it, it creates a pretty but unnatural look, almost like fallout from eyeshadow. It also never seems to dry down fully, so my hair gets stuck in it and it transfers easily. You can set it with powder to try to prevent it from transfering, but a small dusting doesn't prevent transfer and a heavy layer of powder creates a bad texture. Both ruin the highlighter effect. Maybe I need to experiment with other techniques, but so far I'm disappointed. Would work better for those who like sparkly highlighters and don't mind the tacky texture.
Gorgeous Highlighter!
This stick highlighter does exactly what it says! Wherever you place it, you instantly have glass looking skin. It does take a few minutes to dry down, but it will.
Perfect highlighter stick!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This highlighter stick is the best! No joke! It goes on so easy. As easy as chapstick would be to apply this applies! Effortless. Goes on smooth and has an amazing amount of shine in every stroke. It's not too over the top but just subtle enough you know it's there. It seems slightly waterproof as well. So if you shine yourself up for the beach, lake or pool and you get wet it's still there! There is zero scent to it and blended seamlessly. Love love love this!
