APPLICATION:
Twist up the lipstick base to reveal roughly one millimeter of product.
Apply to clean lips and wait two to three minutes for the formula to set.
Twist the formula down and close until you hear a click.
REMOVAL:
Dispense one to two pumps of Hyper Real Fresh Canvas Cleansing Oil into the palm of your hand and gently massage onto lips.
Emulsify with warm water, rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

The lipstick almost feels like wearing powder than traditional lipstick. It lasts well, and is 100% Bleed- and feather-resistant. This shade takes on a more orangey undertone than Ruby True. For everyday activities like errands, it holds up fine. But if you're counting on it to last through eating and drinking, it will come off. This type of lipstick needs to be applied and then left alone to dry, don't press or rub your lips together to blend it. Just let it set on its own before doing anything else. It did last a bit longer when I applied it this way, but not by much. A THIN LAYER GOES A LONG WAY. Overall takeaways: great formula and excellent pigmentation, as expected from MAC. However, it doesn't last all day or hold up well through meals and drinks. I wouldn't rely on it for a night out, but I'll keep it for errands, appointments, meetings, ect. This product really depends on the type of person using this. The colors really are beautiful choices to pick from. I bought 5 of them, and I never really by lipsticks because the shades never catch my attention like the way these kinds wear down.

Please NEVER stop making this color! The color and formula are nearly perfect. Connoisseur is a cool, pigmented mauvish pink. It doesn't dry out my lips like the Locked Kiss Ink but it also doesn't last as long, either. Ten hours, maybe, but not 24.
